Parent Leadership Opportunities:

Worcester Community Connections Steering Committee
WCCC’s Steering Committee is the governing body that sets the overall direction for the coalition. It is comprised of 51% parents and 50% agency providers and/or community leaders and co-chaired by a parent.
WCCC’s Family Needs Committee:
At WCCC’s Family Needs Committee Meetings, parents meet once a month to work together to improve access to services by providing input to local social service agencies. Contact 508-796-1418 for more information.
Worcester Connections Family Resource Center Advisory Council:
The Advisory Committee of the Resource Center meets quarterly to provide guidance to and oversee the work of the Center. It is comprised of parents and agency partners.
Worcester Parents Empowering People (PEP) Leadership Training
Worcester Community Connection’s PEP Parent Leadership Training is a is a 14 week, innovative life skills, parent leadership program prepares individuals to go back into their neighborhoods and schools as effective leaders, ready to make a difference. Contact 508-796-1418 for more information.
